Create New Drawing dialog

A new drawing (result) can be created with this dialog.

Setting	Description
Drawing Name	Type the name of the drawing to be generated.

The drawing generation is started by selecting a template or frame. Refer to Result Viewer for details.

When starting the drawing definition with a template it is possible to choose between existing default templates, "user-defined" templates or to add/create a new template.

When starting the drawing definition with a frame it is possible to choose between existing default frames or "user-defined" frames.

To use "user-defined" frames there are two options to select them from the given list:

to copy the CAD file which will be used as a frame to the default directory
to specify a "user-defined" directory

The location of the default directory for frames is: installation directory\rmv8i version number\rmres\frames\resview. (e.g., C:\Program Files\Bentley\RmBridge\rmv8i.08.11.11.02\rmres\frames\resview)

The "user-defined" directory for frames for Result Viewer is specified under: File > Specify Locations > Frames for Result Viewer

Here the exact location of the default directory for frames can also be seen.

Once a template or frame is selected the selection is confirmed by clicking OK.
